The place is like japan restaurant vibe, so it feels private. The waitress is nice and the service is an excellent. The food is delicious, eventhough the price is quite pricey. I suggest you make reservation first. FYI this is not halal restaurant, they have pork menu and authentic japan taste.

First timer came to this restaurant, located in the heart of jakarta, don’t worry with the carpark, there are a lot to park your vehicles. The place is quite hidden, until we call it a hidden gem . Surprisingly, the food was awesome and so delicious, it taste so japan yet still align with our indonesian taste. We ordered some food and can’t pick which one of them was our fave, cause we thought all of them are . The price is quite okay cause they serve a big portion for each food, so sharing is the best idea. The server also very nice and helpful, thank you! Two suggestions, maybe for the smoking area you could put some concern cause the room feels and still smells of cigarette smoke eventhough it is unoccupied. The room maybe need more light a bit, feels so dark and obscure. Will surely back again to this restaurant!

Place is perfect for introverts, with it's private rooms. Services are great, food also tasted great. Ordered sushi rolls and oven, which feels like authentic oden.

Located in the basement of a high rise building where the offices open during weekdays, so better to come during weekend lunch. The staffs are great with warm smiles and the foods are good. We order Hamburg in hot plate which is so juicy. The Rafute in Okinawa Style is tender and the soup is Umami. Also the Saikoro cubes are tender. All foods are recommend During weekends there are also 30% discounts. Worth money

Sakana Midplaza Good authentic Japanese restaurant Located at Midplaza Sudirman So i ordered Tontoki Don Set Delicious pork dish... with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors (more towards a sweeter taste), topped with crispy fried onions Deliciouss This is a set menu, so you'll enjoy some side dishes like pudding, miso soup, and a fresh salad Although the prices are a bit steep, the tasty dishes and cozy atmosphere make it all worthwhile! Authentic japanese izakaya at midplaza. Well japanese centric building with its tenant mostly japanese.located in basement floor. Design interior is focusing on VIP private room with cubicle type and japanese design. Tontoki will be the best menu here. Agedashi tofu or oden is great if you want warm food. Favorite one. Not so expensive.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in town! First time here and everyone was surprised with all the quality and delicious food served. Their fried chicken volcano is legit, their tontoki bowl and saba is the best. The air conditioner is a bit hot, but overall the atmosphere is good. Will definitely come here again!
